I am a General Practitioner practicing in Singapore, with special interests in Women's Health, Integrative Wellness, and Holistic Medicine. I have worked and gained wide exposures across multiple hospitals and institutions in acute, subacute, and chronic settings, including Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, General Surgery, Dermatology & Venereology, Family Medicine, as well as government agencies, specialist outpatient clinics, nursing homes, and primary care clinics. My work experience has expanded into Telemedicine and Mobile Medicine, where I provide medical services, continuity of care, and holistic support to patients and caregivers in the community.
What Does Holistic Wellness Mean?
Zest Clinic's approach to overall wellness examines all aspects of a patient's lifestyle, taking a wide range of factors into consideration. It involves examining the health of the mind and body holistically as a way to diagnose and treat a patient using evidence-based medical science.
I believe that we can achieve optimal health by treating the root causes of illness, and by accepting that the body is made up of interdependent parts. When one or more parts are not working correctly, it negatively affects the rest of the body, and that's where illness creeps in.
